Surgical instrument sterilization is a key link in hospital nosocomial infection control, and the sterilization quality directly affects the safety of surgical patients. At present, most domestic and foreign medical institutions adopt semi-automatic disinfection and sterilization equipment, which requires manual sorting, loading and unloading of instruments, with complicated operation procedures and long processing cycle. Manual participation is easy to cause instrument residue omission, incomplete sterilization and secondary pollution, leading to potential risks of postoperative infection. In view of the shortcomings of traditional sterilization equipment, this study develops a fully automated integrated medical device for surgical instrument cleaning, disinfection and high-pressure steam sterilization. The device integrates intelligent instrument sorting, high-pressure spray cleaning, enzymatic hydrolysis decontamination, hot water disinfection and high-temperature high-pressure sterilization functions, realizing one-stop full-process automatic processing of surgical instruments from pollution recovery to sterile storage. Equipped with an intelligent visual detection system, the equipment can automatically identify residual blood stains, tissue residues and dirt on the surface of instruments, and adjust cleaning parameters adaptively to ensure thorough decontamination. The whole working process is fully enclosed and automated, without manual contact, effectively avoiding secondary pollution and human operation errors. Meanwhile, the device can automatically record sterilization time, temperature, pressure and equipment operation data, forming traceable sterilization medical records. Practical application in tertiary hospitals verifies that the integrated sterilization device improves the instrument processing efficiency by 40%, completely meets national medical sterilization safety standards, and greatly reduces the risk of nosocomial infection. It is an efficient and safe special medical device for hospital disinfection supply centers.
